Looks great! Well done. One question, how did you get that cap up there? We have some 6 foot pillars and will be placing 183 pound 28”x28”x3” caps on top of them. Any tips? TIA

Two people. Both lift at the same time is how I do bigger caps. The ones in this video I did myself. I dry stacked some 8” block to make steps and walked the caps up and set them down. Sorry for the late reply.

Good work tho wish u would have done some of it on live camera. Does that require a Footing under below the freeze line. New to brick work. thx

Yes it does. I have more of these exact columns and similar ones made from natural stone that I will be building this spring. I’m going to make a serious effort to record them. I often start mixing up my mud and get to work then realize a couple hours in that I didn’t record anything. Check back in April I should have some more in depth work then. Thank you!
