As tech i prefer XT60 plugs, those are stronger than Deans. For Li-pos, on AR always the PTS EPS, Cyma or A&K Vltor stock, those hold easily tripple sricks with over 2000mAh on 11.1V. Those li-pos fit also the G&G F2000 with some modifications on the polymer body of the AEG. For everything else in our arsenal, we use GSG 1450 mAh 11.1 stick type li-pos. Even the smaller batteries i mentioned, last for the whole game day, at least for us, so no issues there, but always good to have a guide to share, for new team members.Thanks Vincent!

Hopefully the airsoft scene will see xt connectors soon, but like brushless motors, and lipo batterys in the past, the industry is a little slow to adapt.
@bronkobrumby7765 жыл бұрын
Yes i agree with that. We will see what the industrie will get out of the new technology, at least the G-350 brushless motor is available now, good motor, installed it in my F2000, runs great.

A heads up, the vfc mp7 can only take a 1100mah stick 11.1 (since vfc recomend an 11.1 for it) and the asg scorpion is headacke free with a thin firefox-like stick 11.1 and it only takes 20 seconds or so. Dont use the 3-cell 11.1 they recomend. Its a huge pain in the ass.

Hi probably a wired place to say this but Airsoft might finally be coming to Australia, however, guns that have a fully automatic function are to be limited to 1.3 Joules, anything without fully automatic function will be limited to 2.5 Joules. what are peoples thoughts on this and what are some likely limitations? (kind of want to hear what people who already have airsoft think of this)
@torontoairsoft60365 жыл бұрын
1.3 joules is about 380 fps with a .2 which is a pretty common cqb field limit. 2.5 is more than 500 fps. So all in all pretty reasonable. A power limit is always better than clear or neon bodies just saying :)

@MNak905 жыл бұрын
QUESTION: Which size and type of battery is recommended for an AUG? Since the battery is stored in the stock, would think a LiPo; it was made for a 7.4v 1000 mAh. I suppose the highest voltage battery that can fit would be best? Also, would it be bad to use a higher mAh battery to increase the rate of fire? Also, since the compartment is small, would you recommend a Dean’s w/ an adapter?
@torontoairsoft60365 жыл бұрын
Higher voltage typically means higher rate of fire whereas mah means more runtime, though of course they overlap. Stick with a 7.4v lipo unless you've upgraded the internals. Avoid using a deans adapter as you're adding even more resistance. Change out the connectors entirely if you're switching to deans.

A nunchuck 11.1 will fit in the buffer tube dimensionally, but the connectors will stick out and you won't be able to close the stock all the way. Stick with a smaller stick 7.4 or 11.1.
@WolfMan-nf4lv5 жыл бұрын
This is one of many reasons why I like gas guns better. Yes they’re not as performance based and ammo-happy as AEG, and weather has a major affect on functionality, and AEGs are overall pretty stupidproof. However gas guns don’t require electronics or tech experience to function or maintain, and once you learn the system a bit, upgrade installments are a breeze compared to an AEG due to less parts during stripping of the gun. Also for F**k’s sake I don’t have to worry about where I need to cram my battery so that I don’t have to ghetto tape it to the externals 😂. Lastly, propane, and/or MAPP gas is cheap, (or CO2 if that’s your thing, its not for me) and if you know how to make them work for you, no matter the climate, gas blowbacks will treat you well and provide an awesome experience that feels super realistic. AEGs are effectively better in a lot of ways, but for me personally I like gas guns. I just wish there was a bigger market for them here in the USA. I don’t like sewing machines anymore lol.
