I think the churn brush method is great. The mortar should be lime though.

most older posh houses where I'm from are recessed or tuck-pointed, random stone with dressed coins is raised-pointed and older farm-type houses are flush-pointed similar to your bagged and from the late 1900,s its double struck

That is lethal when someone takes a board out and you don’t know ,you will probably have little chance of a claim, do you think you can work again?

How are you Jack, I remember them if we could lay our hands one we would rip it apart and turn it into a go cart which then lasted a couple of hours, a couple of fellow trades persons have told me that , it’s an option I need to try, I can’t find my yellow shorts 🤦‍♂️👍

i always use a stick abt 10 m.m thick or thereabouts an i wait till the lime is bit drier than what youres is before stick pointing, and afterwards dab with a not too stiff brush, if its hot weather i dampen the bricks and joints down with a water spray for a bit , i been doing it for abt 30 years and nothings fell out yet
@BuildingwithBudd
@BuildingwithBudd 4 ай бұрын
