Nice job Stu 👍 I'm a Texas Bricky ! Lol .. I've done a lot of jobs like this one .. we are repair specialist ... I've made a great living for many years doing custom repairs . Started off with new builds . We still do some new stuff ... But I like working on historical properties ... It'd be great to work on some of the old buildings in jolly old England ! Cheers mate , love your videos !

Joe D . You right . I was on my first day as an apprentice bricklayer building front Bays to a large double Victorian house in London Useing Reclaimed imperial bricks (some like a donkeys hind leg). But so rewarding. Still doing it but at my own pase. All the best. Jim

It's always cool watching these videos to see how people lay in different parts of the world. Hello from Indiana, USA. 2nd year apprentice

Nice job Stu. Those bricks are exactly the same as 'Southwaters', very dense with shallow frogs. They don't soak up water and as with the original 'Blue Staff's', we only ever laid 6 course in a day. So you did a great job managing to finish that wall without the lower courses sinking.

Looks like the outer end of te lower half of the existing wall was in another bond, similar to Flemish? Then halfway up it became English ! Perhaps also rebuilt once? I much prefer to be out of the sun in the morning - it means you're in the sun in the afternoon !
