Great to hear a background from you both, as a kid, a friends dad got killed on a building site back in the late 50s early 60s!!! Steve and Alex are local ish to me and its good to see people who take pride in their workmanship. To say Brickies are duffers, no chance when you see the skill in building even something as a small brick wall. Well done guys.

Really good to listen to, Like Steve I wanted to do engineering and did a 4 year mechanical fitter apprenticeship, but soon moved into drainage working with my dad, and then eventually working for the local water company mow as a Clerk of Works on sewer installations and commissioning, but one thing that has stuck with me is pride in my work and quality learnt from way back as a 16 year old apprentice, doesn't matter what the trade you can transfer that skill set

Great interview guys, relaxed and honest. Very privileged to have watched them for over a year now. Quality work and that bit further for the customer. Its been great to was watch Alex mature into a first class builder like his dad. Stay well all.
