@@GingerDust69 I'm a mason as well (brick, block, stone veneer, concrete stamped and flatwork, structural concrete and general masonry restoration etc), what separates the best from the rest is the details (clean joints, clean aesthetic, well thought out provisions to improve the efficiency and quality of the job and a good attitude), hey it takes a cowboy to grab a bull by the horns and you dominated that job. 😎👍👍👍

Used a piece of hose pipe a few times in London in the 80s, one job on isle of dogs you'd get chased if u used a normal jointer. Called dongers if i remember .

Should try on them dori blocks there the nuts when pulling of profile in two directions. Stops you line running and snapping when it rubs up profile

I can’t afford Blakes profiles so I do a bit of DIY haha are they really that good. ?I try telling them to load them out differently but they must not know who you are I said Steve and Alex will stop watching my videos if they see them like that again but they’re all old school they don’t know what KZbin is.

I've got four Blake's and I wouldn't do without them,I'm on a job with a handmade style brick and would be the worst on the level.just ordered two internal Blake's off eBay for £130 with all the clamps and clips,well worth it!!!!

Good on ya. I went to college when I left school and it’s the best thing i ever did. There’s a shortage of tradesman now days as no kids wanna learn anything else once they leave school. You will do well and always be in work. Wish you all the best mate 👍👍👍

It’s hard to say and I know your up against it with the brick shapes ,the only other thing that would work would be heritage sand lime but a lot more time and expense .🧱👍

Yes it’s nice to be out of the ground but don’t worry long way yet till it’s built as our firm will probably take four or five months to build this where is on site they go up in a week. The good thing about these frames is a workers cavity closures as well

Everyone have got mixed views on this. Thanks for your comment. These bricks would be useless frog down as most of these bricks have ridges on the face of them that need to face down as water will get in these ridges and when it’s cold it would blow the face.i always lay frog up. Have a good Xmas.

I watch every video people put on about bricklaying and I'm seeing more and more people building the brickwork first especially when house bashing I was tought u build the blockwork first unless it is absolutely necessary to do the brickwork first ie walling overhand etc

No mate these bricks were different the bricks that we got sent before had to be taken back apparently 40 million of them bricks were distributed around the UKSo I don’t know what other bricklayers are doing about them
