I'm seriously (happy!) emotional right now because you are the first full-blown page builder creator who cares and understands so much about accessibility and implements it right. A thousand times thank you, dear Thomas and Team! ♥

Took me 5 mins to get the hang of it, and being able to have loops, code and php calls to build dynamic menus... it's exceptional. I've used almost every major builder in the 15+years I've developed with WP... and Bricks is without question the best of the lot. Deeply grateful for your hard work and the responsive team which helps with bugs and questions :)

No kidding. The features are insane and the whole thing just feels snappy, clean, lightweight, and dialed in. Designing in it feels better than Breakdance by quite a bit and a lot better than Elementor. Plus the dev is so damn good.

Happy New Year Thomas. As a new user I am enjoying the.flexibility of Bricks. I'm catching up via KZbin on all that is covered by yourself and others. A suggestion for the off canvas element. A fade or zom in would also be good where we could style the panel to appear like a pop up. Or, just have a variation on the same element and call it pop up? I know pop ups can be done via templates but sometimes adding in things like this are better within the workflow of the layout being worked on at the time.

One bit of feedback: There should be an option to enable submenu on click instead of hover. In terms of UX, click nav is objectively superior to hover nav; the latter being jarring to users. I appreciate you immensely; please keep up the great work. Proud to be a member of the Bricks family.

You can choose to toggle the dropdown content (sub menu) on hover, click or both. The setting is named "Toggle on" and located under the "Content" control group of the "Dropdown" element.

It seems the off canvas element width doesn't update on the front end no matter what I do in the backend. 1.8.1-classes version. Shows 80% or 80vw in the editor just fine, but not on front end. And even when I apply my own class to it, nothing. Anything you can think of? Reply

Looking ahead: Personally, the features I would like the most (from 'Planned') are, Element Back to Top (because it's easy and it would be great to not have to add yet another plugin), Radial Gradients, Custom Shape Dividers, Global Class Manager.

You don’t need a plugin for this. All you need to do is create the element and make it Static and then position it at the bottom right.

@@Rollclick I have a plugin so the back to top has a fixed position through scrolling down the page is it is not necessary to go to the bottom to skip to top. A button in the footer isn't actually that helpful for a long page.

The default menu is too ugly and difficult to edit for beginners. It is suggested to add templates, especially the template styles of the mobile port.

How do you make the close toggle button change to an 'X' ?
@bricksbuilder
@bricksbuilder Жыл бұрын
Set the "Toggle" element "Animation" to "boring" will animate the toggle accordingly from the hamburger bars to an "x" (close) button. If you want to show a close icon inside the default mobile menu, then you'd have to select a different "Icon" for this "Toggle" element.

@DaBo1
@DaBo1 Жыл бұрын
this are useless. you instead you should create from scratch, instead showing ready made and explained what you done not how you done. you are confusing ''what'' with ''how''. ''how'' is about how you are doing, not what you are doing or what you done. better to do from scratch and explain on each step if you want to overwhelm, because on the way problem appear so people will get stuck into some obstacles. best is simple and do from scratch with no complicated and too much explanations (which are in purpose to overwhelm, what don't need is not important to know.) and as well could be better to offer to copy and download the template so will simplify way better the life of people
