Dorama's armor piece was actually already in normal purple used on Lady Bone Demon minifigure so I have no idea why they switch it to lavender, but I kinda like it

kind of strange that for 250$ the only ninja included in this set is zane without a shirt or mask, I’m not complaining though, glad that they gave him the detective zane face to make him ever so slightly different than the january shirtless zane lol.

I think the build itself is pretty nice, and I like how it's a bit smaller and more open. It adds some nice variety to the Ninjago City line of sets. As for the minifigures, I've had time to let my opinions on them settle. And the only one I really have a problem with is Dr. Larow. She really could have benifited from having leg printing. And while her hairpiece isn't in the right color, I'm pretty sureit exists in black already. We just wont have that white streak in it. Would've been nice to have a printed hairpiece like Neuro had, but that would have most certainly taken some of the buget away from other aspects of this set.

Maybe we’ll get an actual Crossroads set in the future. 11:25 Maybe the Crossroads set got replaced by the Workshop because when trying to build the Crossroads, they actually made the Workshop by accident. I really love the dragonian tourist. I really wish the city sets had more civilians that were not normal Lego humans. Ninjago has so many varied species and dragons rising has such varied background civilians, but outside of release year we don’t see other species too often afterwards.

I like putting little cameos like that in my Ninjago City display. I have a couple Serpentine eating ice-cream on the upper cable car station and one peeking out through that "secret" cave in the Docks. Now that I've caught up on the show, I should put a couple of Geckles and Munce in there somewhere.

It seems this one is less popular than previous, but I honestly love it. I like that they are willing to make smaller modules, not just one up from the last one. There could've been some better usage of space, especially with the storage area, but it looks like a great addition to the line

Unfortunately this is by far the least exciting City set in my opinion maybe tied with the docks which I don't personally own but I don't think it is that amazing and I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to try to get it just to add it. But the lack of size and figures is honestly pretty disappointing compared to the ladder of original City, Gardens, or markets this just feels very underwhelming and like they decided to skip out on actually doing their jobs fully and create a full-sized next Ninjago modular. The fact that this has less pieces than the previous docks and lesss figures then the tournament Temple City which was not even a City set is again disappointing. Lego is really skimping out. The only excitement really for me of this set is a few of the figures being obviously casual Harumi, Dorama, and Dr Larow and twitchy Tim for completion collection purposes. Otherwise the rest of the figures are pretty dang useless and lame. And it doesn't help that with those four being good that eats up again those four slots leaving only six which two are then used by Heroes which come in other cheaper sets making those two undesirable and then the last are all civilian type figures which are of pretty much no use for me personally. Don't get me wrong I will still buy this set because I'm a collection completionist, but it's definitely one that I am in not many ways excited for.

If lego made this as a 3rd corner set in the city line, it looks like they are going to eventually go for a 4th. If that’s the case we have at the very least 3 more ninjago city sets AFTER workshops to make a complete square of ninjago city sets. (Not a perfect square but a square of city sets nonetheless). Can’t wait to get my hands on this set. Enjoyed the video as well !

Harumi in her casual outfit FINALLY being available makes this an instant buy for me and then dr larow and dorama and twitchy Tim are more big reasons (though I wish we got a bigger version of dorama’s robot and dorama himself is way too pale his outfit is purple not lavender and it’s not like they have the excuse that the armour piece isn’t in purple because it IS in purple for the lady bone demon’s armour piece)

Those figures are a mass disappointment, no new molds, 4 of 10 are civilians, 2 are re-uses, and then dorama is nice, Harumi I’m not to excited about but I know others are, Larow I don’t care for at all, she is a waste of a spot and then the only reason twitchy is hear is because his hair piece was introduced last year with Cinder. And only 2 of what 10 good guys? Also only 10 figures compared to 13 the tournament temple city had. Build is very unique but those figures, man. Also only 2 civilians and the 2 re-used figures have leg printing. What is Lego doing

Since this isn't the crossroads then that means that we can still get The Crossroads in the future and have it be a much larger set with more peices. ( Maybe around 5,000 peices like Ninjago City Markets )

honestly a really cool set and relativly cheap compared to the other ninjago cities. I honestly wish that they used the budget from the mech for something else like a small garden or shrine in the centre. Either way i'll definitely get this eventually.

For $250 this is pathetic. Ninjago city Gardens was $300 with 21 mini figures and 5000+ pieces. The majority of the new mini figures Have been skempt out on, with the lack of leg printing.

For me the biggest dislikes are the big mech, no Mr Frohicky, small Dorama's puppet and no leg printing for Casual Harumi, Dr LaRow, Dorama and Twitchy Tim, but its just my opinion.

Although having this set would be a really cool addition to my City Markets, more likely than not most of the figures would go to other displays. I'd put Harumi in my S8 display, and Dorama and LaRow in with my DRS1 sets. Still, might try and get this. We'll see. Edit: Almost forgot Twitchy too, lol. Ofc he'd be with the Island sets.

Mind I remember seeing your video on the custom version of Harumi and Kimono Nya. I guess if you still have that custom and you get this set, you can use the torso and legs of the custom, the hood of the official casual Harumi, face depends if you want to be expressive, you can use both custom and official faces and the hair should be the official hair if you want the black chopsticks And yeah, I guess you have your own accurate version of casual Harumi 😁

What Lego should have done is a Crossroads set that fits into the Ninjago City series of sets. Casual Harumi is amazing! I wish we got more minifigures we wanted more. Ninjago City Gardens was an amazing corner Ninjago City set that works well by itself, this set is not that at all.
