i think the reason for mario not reading some things at the first build is probably because at some point it reads too many in a short time and stops reading it before it breaks

On the one hand I love the brick built designs for the bad guys and the modular layout of stage elements for this theme, but on the other I don't like the focus on electronics and QR codes nor Mario himself not being a standard minifigure. That's how I feel about the theme in general. I do like this video and what you're doing. Neat contraption.
