Now fixed and on daily duties, we take a look around the £350 Skoda Felicia that we went to the other side of the UK for, and show you why we think this was a great purchase!

Looks like a great little car, and a steal of a find too. Good, hopefully reliable, transport. My uncle had one just like that, same colour, spec and year, years ago. It was written off (and seemed quite strong!) so we found him a facelifted Felicia estate, which was also great. I used it for a while, it was surprisingly enjoyable to drive.

A great car.Ive owned three Favorits and two Felcia an original base LX on a P reg a facelift Pacific on V reg .I used to buy a lot of them as tax write offs from the main dealer back in the 90s as he was a close friend of my Dad's

Good cars. I had a 1995 GLXI Felicia and it was brilliant over the 7 years I had it, with the only problem being a failed ignition coil. Got to 106,000 miles before I traded it in for a Fabia

It's crazy to think that this car is 25 years old and it looks completely unmolested. Speaks for the quality of that era. To me, those are the best and most practical cars to have, fairly safe, rustproof, reliable and drivable. Any 70s car at 25 years old was well knackered.

The Felicia polishes up nicely and it looks stunning for a 25 year old car. I loved Owen's reaction to you discussing fitting a radio 😂 I cannot understand people never servicing their cars though. I much prefer this pre facelift Felicia. I always got Allegro Vanden Plas vibes when they stuck the Octavia style grill on it.

Yeah it will be getting a good service asap! Same for me, it had to be a pre facelift if I got a Felicia and when it came up I couldn’t say no!

My first two cars were Felicia estates! Bought my second one around 2017 for £250! Only had 70k on the clock. Great little cars, especially if you’re after a decent sized estate with a small engine for new drivers

My first car was a 2000 facelift Felicia. Great little car. Very fun to drive. The 2 issues that no mechanic ever find was at cold start the idle was about 800 rpm, the normal was around 1200 rpm. The second was the high fuel consumption. A full tank for about 390km. The constructor gives about 580-630km of range. Never saw these numbers

I also found it to not be great on petrol, unless it was sat at a constant speed for a long period of time of course! Aside that and a few blemishes this one was good to us though!

Strange. My 1.3 MPI 2000 Felicia is getting to 5.2 l/100 km on motorway. In city about 6.5.

Come across this video by complete accident, never even seen one of these before but looks so cool, how you got that for £350!! What a bargain, even fiestas of this age are going for £1k these days. Nice find, enjoy!

Lx means carburetor, usually 95 year. lxi means mono point or in later versions from 97 multi point injection. I have one for oldtimer. Very reliable car and strong. I didn't belive til I once hit the guy with new fiat van and broke his whole front. I repair my left headlight and small metal work at my front yard. Cost me two hours of work and 50 quid. Also this version what you have multi point have very good fuel consumption. If you need some advices or help text me.

I remember these brand new they replaced the favourit, they were modern up to date cars, we had a n reg golf TDI at this stage.simple car simple engineering

This car is still very common today in Czech Republic. It was the first car for many people here including myself and yours look to be in very good shape, the biggest killer of the Felicia is unfortunately rust other than that these cars are very solid after almost 30 years!

I don't blame you putting a radio in it😊 .Many years ago radio was nicked out of my Citroën Ax . I thought why bother replacing it as probably only get nicked again. I lasted a week without one 😂 Did get one with a removable faceplate thou which was a popular anti theft measure at the time 😊

I sold mine 3 years ago and got an Octavia. The octavia is better in all ways. But I had much more fun in my Felicia.

also g, speak to an auto upholsterer. cos its a plain grey they might be able to match it and just repair that squab part?

Is this the 1 that was for sale down south? I found (im 99.9% sure it was this) it through the parking cars website but the other half advised against adding it to the other 3 felicias 😂

I think it got a rear boot lid, not just the badge. Can't imagine a rear wiper coming standard on a bargain basement spec car.

Rather than add a radio why not use a Bluetooth speaker and your phone so it's not permanent and completely reversible?
