Looking back on old photos of myself, which I rarely do, I was a very attractive young woman with a great figure. My mother smashed my self-confidence about my appearance whenever she could, and I took it to heart just like this gorgeous bride has done. Mom, the dress isn't important, your relationship with your daughter is, so don't be an idiot. It's a narcissistic trait when mothers try to live their lives through their daughters. Being a daughter of a narcissist, you can never be good enough. This bride-to-be was clearly devasted and the mother was utterly indifferent to her feelings. It made my skin crawl.
