So much to love about this show. One of my favorite things is that they clearly refuse to go over the bride's budget, like on other SYTTD's. The brides are always so pleased to find out the dresses are in budget.

that last dress was INCREDIBLE, she looked like a size 8 in it! i would maybe put a petticoat under the skirt, just to fill it out a bit and balance out her bustline but other than that, yeah, that is a FLAWLESS dress for her figure.

I wish every bridal shop in the world had Gok. I wish I had Gok when I was looking for a dress. My consultant didn't listen to me at all; she brought me dresses that were literally the opposite of what I wanted. I literally found my own dress after seeing another bride in the store trying it on. Gok listens to every word....both said and unsaid.

Normally I don’t care for most current lace sleeves (the pattern is like the lace bodice on the first dress…haphazard). However, these sleeves were done right. Stunning dress on a beautiful bride. Perfection.

When you've lost a lot of weight as she has, you still see the larger person so all the insecurities are still there but in a smaller size. She rocked every dress but she couldn't see it.

I haven’t lost as much weight as she has but I did lose 20kg and I would say I’m more insecure than I was before. Before I lost weight I didn’t really care about my weight and thought I was just a lost cause. But then I lost the weight and realised how much better I looked when I’m smaller and now I’m paying for attention to other people too. Sometimes I forget how far I came and I’m only looking at people who are skinnier than me and comparing myself to them and feeling insecure but when I look at old pictures I remember how far I’ve come and I remember how I look so much better than I used to. It’s hard to remember how much has changed. I’m definitely more confident now and see myself as more pretty than I used to but sometimes I just get trapped comparing myself to tiny celebrities.
