I'm not plus size but I'm overweight. I dropped to a stick insect at one point and still focused on all my lumps and bumps and couldn't see any change after a 5 stone weight loss. These ladies are amazing and it wouldn't matter what size you were they would support us as women first and foremost

That dress looks great on her!:) Shopping for a wedding gown... SUCKS.:( Why? It is tiring, it is confusing and it takes a lot out of you. Those gowns are heavy.... And if you still don't know what you really want in the way of a dress...you feel more and more lost.:( Remember that these ladies are in front of a TV camera for sake of a TV show and they are doing it with their own consent priorly. None of this is off the cuff or without the bride's consent to be on film.tv.

I suffer from severe PCOS...I can put on large amounts of weight without changing my diet/activities. The hormonal imbalance then makes it extremely difficult to shift the weight. My Dr started me on Metformin. Ever since, I have slowly started to lose the weight and it is staying off (thank God!)

Struggling with not meeting the social norm of beauty can cause so much anxiety and self consciousness. The fact that you girls address the bride in such an understanding, loving, and tender manner is amazing. You basically help make a person's life better. Honestly could watch these videos all day. I'm not plus size or anything I just love how these two women change peoples lives it's absolutely amazing to see and for me who struggled to be less then 10 stone I can imagine the fear and anxiety these women feel and how their happiness and mindset change. Sedonia Dragotta I actually like how you put it because most people call us huge when they don’t know what we’ve 1) been through and 2) have to farther go through. It hurts when people’s first thoughts and words are your fat or your obese stop eating. Like me.. I don’t eat most of the day but when I do I purge. And my body doesn’t detect that I’m full. I just feel empty. And when I get comments from outsiders it hurts and I push myself father and father and end up in the hospital cause I stopped eating. People don’t understand the empact that words have on others but they need to learn Sorry for the rant

I do understand that it's easy to put on weight and hard to loose it. We all have weight issues most do any way even the non obeese. It's just easier to pick on others for most people. Take day by day and little changes make big ones. It's all about letting go of what was and live for today and so what your hearts desire. Try raw till 4 for 30 days you can eat as much as you want loos weight with out restrictions. We all have struggles in our lives . Just learning to deal with them ourselfs . Your body isn't some one else's it's yours . I'm sure you can succeed in any thing you wish. Good luck.x

A beautiful woman, but the medical factors cannot be ignored. For the heart to pump blood adequately, the more the weight, the greater the stress on the heart, and eventually, the heart cannot keep functioning. The respiratory effort is quite evident, needing to fan herself, needing to sit, is just the kindness of her body speaking to her. God bless her and may be she and her husband have a long and happy life together.
