@@amy_aao I don't know about others but I can tell you about faruk and sureyya. From what I heard from one of my turkish friends, it was a translational error in the dilara senem talk(there are a lot of them in the whole series) in that episode. I don't know how much you've seen but in episode 70 or smth Esma is celebrating her 60th birthday which brings faruk to be aged around late 30s or 40 and in episode 301, the whole family is celebrating Sureyya's entry in the 40s club (this is set after 7 years). So if faruk was in his late 30s when he and sureyya met, she would've been in her early 30s so in total they have a gap of only 7-8 yrs I guess.
