Akif was Faruk's assistant and although his intentions were and now maybe more so now, good intentions...Akif did disobey his employer...But Akif did not came to quit but to explain why he did it, indeed he did it for Faruk's sake. So Faruk as we know is very judgmental and fired him. And I think after Faruk will chill out he will try to convince Akif to come back. Akif is a very proffesional and loyal assistant. I hope it will be fine eventually.

I don't get it why everyone got on their high horse because Faruk tried to defend and protect himself against Adem; he didn't know Adem. As far as Akif & Faruk, I knew this was going to happen. "Blood is thicker than water" I noticed how they weren't included in the family picnic (even though Akif needed Esma's approval for marriage & Senem is Sureyya's aunt, so she is family). But basically Faruk emphasized the class system which I knew that was coming based on Esma's attitude toward the kitchen staff. Akif forgot his place & thought he was a family/friend, when he now knows that he is an assistant first. Sad!
