All the Borans blame others for their mistakes, they don't acknowledge the fact that they are wrong. They got this attitude from Esma. They are rude, spoilt and arrogant. The way they treated Garip is so annoying. Though Adem is not so innocent but the way Esma always blame him for any problem in the family is annoying even if her boys are at fault. This is why Fikret can sleep with his assistant and bankrupt the company get away with it.

I agree, this episode showed another side of Faruk I hadn't seen. I have not been a fan of Sureyyas ( haven't liked her at all) but love Faruk. But in this episode I'm certainly team Sureyya, and what does Faruk accusing her of not forgetting the past have to do with what she just saw!?! Good Greif his wife just saw him standing outside his assistance hotel room door in their BATHROBES in a full on KISS what the heck does the past have to do with the present that's in front of her eyes!?! Faruk OWN what happen and don't try to shift the blame to Sureyya with the past when again you were guilty of having a one night stand ( because you couldn't be loyal to Sureyya for a 2 month period) that ended up being used to take your company away from you and bankruptcy of your family! Pleeeez Faruk

Begum was his first love and mother of Emir;;; With Godze he didn't know if Sureyya was coming back, but this Ozgur thing is just horrible. And then he plays the victim. THis is the first time I felt sorry for Sureyya in her marrital relationship....

No clue how long) Faruk has been praising his assistant, even accepted massage in Office which is terribly odd, unethical and unprofessional. Praising a subordinates work is one thing but look at the way he does. It's just not work. Let's imagine Sureyya getting a neck massage at her school from a coworker and events leading up to where Faruk would see. His ex shows up after years with his son that he didn't know about and he doesn't tell his wife (no lack of opportunities), He ends up in a one night stand because he's drunk and angry that his wife left and now he's blaming her because his assistant kissed him? I don't like Sureyyas character line true. It could have had more depth really but let's just understand that she feels insecure because faruk led her to it by lying. One after the other.

I saw the full version with Spanish subs, and if I remember right, Farouk drove the assistant home from the dinner after her encounter with her ex. That’s why he was over an hour late to meet Sureyyea and was so distant. And I think he also had the assistant buy the gift for Sureyyea, that’s why it was such a mediocre gift. He failed in many counts and he deserved what he got. He never should have gone to the dinner. My opinion 😊

@@cathyprosser1050 I’m on my 3rd time watching. And I’m finding several instances that were omitted from the first time I watched. Remember the Christmas snow ball?, and the way they kept showing it in the intros and surella would keep it by her bedside?, well Faruq bought it for her the first time they were at the ski lodge when they were dancing outside in the snow. Well they’ve never shown where it came from, and that’s where it came from. Also when the kid, Emir, came into the picture, he was a real pain in the backside and Faruq kept neglecting Sureya , that was hard to take because she was pregnant and finding out he and her doctor had been lovers etc., etc., well they minimized some of that. Thank goodness. I’m telling you, he was a real pain!!! But I guess Faruq learned his lesson. Thanks for sharing. 😊

@@virginiamartinez201 I have really enjoyed this series a lot, but don't plan to rewatch it. This is my second Turkish drama series. First was Emanet which began in 2020. I loved that a lot but only first 2 seasons. The main character left the series and I just couldn't go back to it. I have several other titles to watch when I finish this one. I thought Emanet was good but gosh, this is so much better. So glad I found it. I tried watching one of the longer versions of the chapters but they don't have English subtitles so I can't do that. I have been studying Turkish but I am far from fluent and further still from understanding all that they say. Nice chatting with you 😊. I am watching from SC, USA 🇺🇸

I did follow her to her new series “Kizilcik Serbeti” and it’s quite good, two different worlds clash which makes it very interesting. These are classics if you’re interested “Sila” and “Love for rent” both with English subtitles and also Spanish. I bought an English/ Turkish dictionary it helps a little bit. Fun chatting, all the way from Houston. 🦒 I like giraffes
