What i love about this drama is the way the portray all characters. They are not only bad or only good. There is abit of both in everyone so you get to understand the complexities of each human and really think about how you would have reacted in their shoes. I haven't watched such a well written and directed drama in a very long time, if at all.

I feel really sad for Dilara. 😢 And I feel sad for Adem too. From his first appearance when I first watched this series a year ago, I felt drawn to his character. He has been through so much in his life, and goes through a number of transitions and changes as this story unfolds. The man who plays Adem truly is an amazing actor and does a great job bringing the character to life. Of course, truly all these actors and actresses do. An awesome cast and a difficult but amazing story. I love it ❤

This is based on a true story, actual people and the way they have Sureyya dressing is indicative of the way the real Sureyya would dress. I am actually appreciative of the fact that she is not the prissy, high heel wearing person Ipek clearly is. Or Begum even. Sureyya was a more natural, down to earth young lady and those qualities make her relatable and obviously attracted the attention of Faruk ..... and others along the way.

Oh, yes, and those scenes in the kitchen where Sureyya comes and helps Fikret prepare the formula for Ada - so sweet and precious. And then when Fikret handed Sureyya the bottle back and gave her the nod to feed Ada for herself, I couldn't stop the tears 😢 😭 Fikret needs the helping hands and Sureyya needs to be able to love on a baby sometimes, even though it's not her own. 💙
