Right now she is depressed because she can no longer dominate and enmesh with Faruk as she has done when he was born. Another woman has taken her place in his heart - according to her warped and infantile way of thinking. And so, that's why she's looking for another source of supply. She thought she could find it in Begum, but Surreyya still won, mortifying her senseless. It is now coming to her notice that Garip might be the next one. But she is in for a rude shock because Garip will not take her nonsense. The only people who can take her nonsnes are her sons and her servants. And that's at this advanced age, why she is very much alone. She doesn't know how to love and to be loved back. She is full of venom and when squeezed, she spews it out with abandon. Thats her main problem and as long as she is still this way, she will never be truly happy coz no one wants to be manipulated and dominated like that. Ipek will also be like this in a few decades. Totally stupid. Murat is showing signs of being like this, but he is lucky to have her brothers influence to mitigate his mother's influence overhim.
