Adem never really loved Dilara. He used her as a way to get to the Borans because she was sureya's friend. In the earlier episodes, when sureya used to tell Dilara everything going on in the Boran mansion, Dilara would go and repeat it all to Adem. While he carried on his marriage to Dilara, he was secretly plotting the downfall of her best friend's family. So loyalty was never his strong suit. The only person he was loyal to was his mother, and that destroyed him when he found out the truth. So it's easy for him to move on from Dilara. He just wants his child.

Dilara was supportive of Adem going to therapy from the beginning. She wanted out of their toxic marriage in an effort to save herself. She never stopped loving Adem and has no idea how much he’s changed. His rejection of her is the reaction of a hurt little boy. He hasn’t been challenged in his relationship with Gunes yet so his feelings for her may change. Dilara no longer wants to be the broken hearted friend of Sureyya who’s relationship with the Borans has been based on being terrorized by Adem. Everything she has been through has changed her and the role of “poor Dilara” is keeping her stuck and a victim. She’ll need to be strong and independent to protect her child. Sureyya and Senem should be supporting Dilara’s growing independence not making it about their own insecurities and guilt.

It takes time for healing so past issues may resurfaced once insecurity crept in. Why does Faruk and Akif have to pay for Senem and Sureya's fault. Sureya of all people should know how Dilara feels. Just like faruk hid the whole begum thing because she was pregnant and he wanted to protect her and she flew off the handle when she found out. Both Sureya and Senem did the same to Dilara and expect a different outcome. Senem needs to stop meddling in others business. She should have told Dilara the truth from the beginning instead of involving Sureya. Sureya should have been upfront with Dilara so she would have known where she stands with Adem Dilara needs to find out who she really is without the support of sureya. She rushed into marriage with adem because she wanted what sureya had and Adem was playing her like a piano. I always said if Adem didnt have money, Dilara wouldnt have looked twice at him. She made herself love him to have what sureya and faruk had. She tried to fix adem when he didnt want to be fixed. He used Dilara to get close to the borans because she was sureya's friend and Faruk's wife. Will not even go into sureya and her abandonment issues

Is it normal to disown someone if they kept something from you to protect you or because they didn’t want to hurt you? I mean, loved ones have kept things from me because they knew it would hurt me. When I discovered that later on I understood and appreciated their intentions. I didn’t see it as a betrayal…(unless it’s something really serious of course). I find this childish, like when we were at school and friends would break up because they didn’t share a secret? 🤷🏻‍♀️I’m happy to discuss this with someone who would like to share their perspective.

I fully agree with you: -no, it is NOT normal to disown someone if they kept something from you to protect you -yes, if your relationship with those close to you is deep, then you will understand their motives and intentions (why they kept things away from you). For example, when Surayya was pregnant (1st baby), it was decided NOT to tell her about Emir because the stress would precipitate a miscarriage -yes, it is childish to a certain extent. Dilara is over-reacting. However, lets look at it from Dilara’s point of view: -she is pregnant; hormones are overflowing and emotions are high. She is not thinking clearly and her tears are flowing -if Dilara saw Faruk kissing a girl in a restaurant, but did NOT tell Surayya about it, will Surayya be so forgiving? I don’t think so. I think Surayya would drop her friend immediately and shout “betrayal!” Thank you for an interesting perspective. Stay well!

The only difference is that Dilara was already divorced…if Sureyya and Farouk were divorced and Dilara saw Farouk with another woman, it would be a little different than if she saw them while they were still married, you know? But yes Sureyya would flip out.
