Thank you. This was really helpful. I'm going to be making my own veil and it's good to know the width of veiling silk to buy as I am wearing a train ballgown with a petticoat underskirt so need something long and wide enough for it not to get swallowed up by he dress.

How fun that you are doing this yourself! Your train sounds glorious. I would recommend 108 inches or 120 inches in width for your fabric. Happy stitching!

@@oneblushingbride Thank you so much for the tip, will keep this in mind when searching for the fabric. I'm very excited and can't wait to start making it. My dress is the Magedline Gardner PHAEDRA 51914 dress. So I'm doing a cathedral veil and I was thinking of adding a cascade of crystals to the veil that concentrate along the hem. Would you say that would be a good move?

Wonderful video! Saving for future use, as I'm making my wedding dress and veil. Wedding is a couple years out, giving me ample time to comfortably make both without rushing.
