Bridge Building

Bridges are a vital part of our transportation systems, and now your students can follow along with this program to build their own model bridge. They start by learning how to design and draw their bridges and then construct the bridge parts and put them together. Finally, they test their bridges to determine the efficiency of their designs.
Along the way, students learn about racking, efficiency, civil engineering careers, and how to use a Timber Tester to determine beam strength.
