बिहार में बहार है नीतीशे कुमार है...बिहार के सीएम नीतीश कुमार के लिए अगर ऐसे नारे लगाए जाते हैं तो बस नारा तक ही ठीक है...क्योंकि आए दिन बिहार में एक से बढ़ कर एक नए कारनामे सामने आ रहे हैं। अब इस कड़ी में बिहार के अररिया के सिकटी में बकरा नदी पर बना पुल 18 जून को गिरकर ध्वस्त हो गया....बताया जाता है कि बकरा नदी पर बने इस पुल का उद्घाटन किया जाना था, लेकिन इससे पहले ही करोड़ों की लागत से बना यह पुल धड़ाम से गिर गया....

The bridge has collapsed, so let's blame the engineer and believe that the next bridge won't collapse? If you really want to understand why bridges are collapsing, you need to dig a bit deeper to find the truth. Today, no engineer in any department in Bihar designs such bridges. All bridges are designed by private consultants who employ engineers that haven't cleared any government exams and are forced to work for a meager 25-30k. These consultants have strong connections with politicians and IAS officers, and some of these companies are indirectly owned by these same people. They don't allow engineers to design at all. Crores are spent under the name of consultancy, but these IAS officers don't want engineers to come to the forefront. Otherwise, the amount spent on consultants could have been used to make good designers out of government engineers, but there's no training provided. If you go to any department, no one even has the current legal bridge design software. How on earth is an engineer supposed to design a bridge? There's much more to it, but I can't explain everything here. Today, the top posts are held by those engineers who know how to bootlick the IAS officers because the top posts in the engineering wing are held by people who know nothing about engineering (IAS officers).
