I always put function over appearance. After all if it fails during use then it don’t look good neither.😊😊😊 Just give the aluminum some “weathered look” to complement the original structure.

Awesome you got 25 years out of it.! I've used balsa wood in N scale but prefer Bass wood for O scale. Very nice looking bridge for sure.! Glad you got it fixed.! 👍

Hi, Steve, you certainly built a great looking bridge, and I am glad you noticed and dealt with the sag when you did. The reinforcement did the trick for sure. Painting and weathering the aluminum now would I think enhance the overall appearance. Great job on the repair and awesome video, Steve! Bill B.

Great vidio, bridges can be a pain, my first bridge on the big curve in the mountains sagged after 2 years and had to be replaced with module plate form that fixed it. Thanks for the morning coffee...
