It is very interesting that, in general, the image seems to be selected in the ideology of SIRDS, also known as Magic Eye 3D technology. That is, I personally see a three-dimensional image of four faces, and separate elements are taken from each face to recreate elements of another face. If you look at it as usual, the image does not become three-dimensional, you need to focus your gaze in a special way, as if outside the screen from behind.

Isn't it actually more difficult to do a quartet by overdubbing? Wouldn't it be harder to make the chords ring?

When you sing with yourself, harmonics in your timbre will line up, so that will contribute to the ring. It's also easier when singing solo to match vowel shapes to further increase ringing. PS: I've actually tried singing something with my brother who's completely tone deaf and we still had some ring, even though it was not in tune lol
