Swim baits work the best for me around bridge piers with a strong current.

Ive always had really good luck with really small texas rigged twister tail worms. Light line and a 1/16 oz. Sinker. Find the depth to let it sink to and they hit it on the drop. They cant resist that slow drop if they are suspended..

In your intro you thanked us for clicking on the channel. If all those other fokes would subscribe there's no looking. I get notified when you put on out. It's always made me scratch my head why they don't. I never miss an episode. Spot on with the bridges, on of my favorite spots.

Here's a video I can apply to saltwater fishin'. I fish around bridge pilings, piers , seawalls, docks and other structures. Usually there's a lot of current and it's a challenge to keep baits near the structure. Sometimes the shadow line is good too. Snook will act just like you described spotted bass, in the shade. I know a guy who fishes under the piers right by pilings for striped bass in the Chesapeake and he gets fish nobody else tried for. So I agree, bridges are good for fishin'.

I'm always shocked, boat traffic constantly going through those areas doesn't seem to bother the bass on big lakes....it's usually non-stop during the summer

I find with the more boat traffic, on the larger bridges, the fish seem to be eating more aggressively. I believe it’s from the constant slapping of the waves against the piling, above and below the water line that makes the food source get knocked around or even loosens it of the algae against the piling ect. I’ve always loved fishing them when it’s busy, but it’s a hard place not to get into the way. Thanks again for another great video randy. 👍👍
