Yes, Viserys and Alicent had a fourth child called Daeron who was sent as a ward to Oldtown in the Reach, the town of House Hightower. He was only mentioned in passing so far. When Otto left after dismissed by Aegon, Alicent suggested to him he should go back to Oldtown to Daeron.

The reason why the Valeryon house can Technically Ride a Dragon is because they have Targaryen blood in them through years of political marriages and the keeping of "Pure Valerian" blood Alive. Targaryens and Valeryons are Both from old Valeria, but the Valeryons are not Dragon lords, only the Targaryens and only Dargon lords are able to ride dragons because of an ancient blood magic ritual that binds Dragons to it's riders.

If I'm not mistaken there is only a single quote that talks about rumors of Rhaenyra getting involved with Laena along with Daemon but they are just rumors and it is more implied that they were friends, not all rumors in the books are true but this one is almost none support for nothing else throughout the entire book, in the series even this is simply non-existent like the entire relationship between Rhaenyra and Laena that the show simply doesn't decide to explore at all, they don't even exchange words during the first season, sad to see the show cutting most of the interactions from the book

The dragons quite literally sleep and live under the castle and it is said that Dragons do better on Dragonstone than any other place in Westeros to the point that even the Wild Dragons live on Dragonstone. I just think that it's such a cool castle like they don't grow crops or anything but hold dragons SO COOL

You don’t need Targaryen Blood to claim a dragon if you’re Velaryon and have Velaryon blood you can claim a dragon, before the doom of Valyria dragon riders were referred to as the blood of Velyria the only reason people associate Targaryens directly with dragons is because they wore the first to leave Valyria with dragons after the doom, Corleys married in to the family with Rhaenys and dosent have any direct Targaryen ancestors nether do Alyn or Adam, Steve Toussaint Corly and Abubakar Salim Alyn have both spoken about it, it was also confirmed in an interview by the show creator Ryan J. Condal.

Well... To be fair - the Velaryons were no dragon riders before. Even in Old Valyria they had no dragon riders in their family. Not all Valyrian houses and families did. So this is actually a VERY big lore reveal. Especially since in the books Adam and Alyn could be Laenors bastards too, for all we know.

Condal and J RR maid to give Book readers solid confirmation that Laenor was gay and to also age up Alyn and Adam for the show since in the books they don’t have any part in the the war till much later. Regardless of there being Valaryon dragon riders in Velyria its still the blood of Velyria in general that gives Targaryens the ability to ride dragons not the other way around, the only reason it is perceived that way is because like i said they were the first to leave Velyria with dragons, in the book Valaryon’s are disrobed as the most mythical with pail skin, even paler hair and purple eyes closer to gods then men, they are a people from a forgotten continent that little is know about. Ryan .J Condal and J RR have also spoken about why this made the Velyrians the perfect family to ad diversity, changing the thing that made them so unique from being purple eye and white hair, to being people with dark skin and pail hair “all though pail hair is not a trait all of them carry” so Velyrian blood is dragon blood not Targaryen blood, targaryens are just one family from Velyria that have the blood of Velyria and can claim dragons.

George himself confirmed that with Jaehaerys being worried if the dragon eggs Ellisa Fahrman stole could be hatched and bonded with. There is more to it then just blood. And also this doesn't change that just because you're from Valyria you can claim a dragon as many families had none over there. Ryan Condall said exactly that. You're taking it a bit too far.

Velyrian blood is what gives them a direct connection to dragons making it far easier to clam them, although J RR has said if you step carefully you may bod with a dragon and ride it without having the blood of Velyria. Doesn’t matter how many family’s did have because they could have and regardless that is what is canon fr the show.
