You're watching a live view from the Bridgeport, AL Depot Museum. A fantastic train watching spot. You are looking at the CSX Chattanooga Subdivision which also hosts Norfolk Southern trains that run between Chattanooga, TN and Sheffield, AL. This camera also features the Sequatchie Valley Switching Railroad. 3 railroads in one live stream. The tracks farthest from the camera are the CSX main 1 and 2 while the track closest to the camera run into the Sequatchie yard.
The Bridgeport Depot Museum is a wonderful place to visit with local artifacts, railroad memorabilia, and a historical research library of interest to history and genealogy buffs.
The depot is open Thursday-Friday from 10am-3pm and Saturday from 10am-2pm
The scanner audio heard in this stream is both the Norfolk Southern and CSX frequencies for this area. A railroad scanner antenna was mounted on the southeast side of the tower at the depot. A big thank you goes to John Peterson and his expertise in railroad radio traffic
A huge thank you goes to the Bridgeport Depot for allowing us to install a railfan camera and bring this amazing view to the railfan world.
Make sure to stop by their museum, sign their visitors book, and say hello!
