I do not think you should stitch "heirlooms". You should stitch what you love and what gives you joy. Do not burden your family with the responsibility of caring for your hobby after you die. They will keep what they wish to keep for their own reasons. But we should all face the reality that most of our projects will land in Goodwill. And that is ok. Just bought the kit for the SAL!

Miss you, too, Jackie. Stitch-Con just wasn't in the budget this year for me because I wanted to do the Flosstube at Sea cruise. I'm thinking next year of doing the Sirens Retreat with Under the Sea Fabrics in San Antonio instead of Stitch-Con, too.
