The fact that he's in a group where they're casually speaking english, and throwing some English here and there helps a lot with his confidence. He got used to hearing and talking back in English like it's not a big deal.

One thing I’ve noticed is that his pronunciation has always been great compared to other Koreans learning English. It certainly makes his English sound better

When he speaks in English, he doesn't have that Korean accent to it. Not that having Korean accent is bad, but it shows how hard he'd tried to improve his English.💚

영어는 진짜 공부를 해도 해도 어려운 거 같아요. 토익 성적 잘 나와도 스피킹이 안되고 한 두 달 공부 놓으면 실력이 금방 후퇴되는 거 같고. 스케줄 엄청 바쁜 진영도 저렇게 눈에 띄게 실력 늘 정도로 열심히 공부하는데 자극받아서 저도 더 열심히 해야겠어요. 저번에 이어서 이번에도 갓세븐 관련 영상 감사드립니다 :)

and also besides studying a lot of english, he also gets to practice with the other members wich I think made his pronunciation much better since they very often talk in english with each other. But really he has learn so much I'm so happy! this 2020 they had to do online fansigns and when they had a foreign fan they would all talk in english with no problem, so proud!!

the timeline is all over the place to be honest 😅 like the first clip was way after that concert clip in the beginning bit and the two clips that you compared to each other were almost at the same time (4:08 the one on the left was like two months after the one on the right xD). but you are right, he's improved a LOT! he said he studied with a private teacher during the summer when got7 was on a break at that time. and when he did video calls with fans during the past year he talked to foreign fans so effortlessly! what i also noticed is that he understands a lot! despite som heavy accents he was always able to understand what the fans said without having to ask what the person had said :) i was super impressed myself when i saw his big improvenents!

Frankly speaking I am a Jackson stan (Jacky) but all these years along with Jackson , I admire Jinyoung a lot. Coz this man is a whole package! He is very passionate about what ever things he does, Whether it's singing, dancing or acting. Got7 have a huge fan base internationally then in Korea, and the members are well aware about it. Jinyoung is an actor too, actually he debuted as an actor before he got into JJProject and GOT7. Now, he's currently working on another drama named Devil Judge. wow this video made me realize just how much jinyoung's english has improved over the past 2-3 years. he improved tremendously and only in a short amount of time. in a kind of recent live he was in the studio and just started communicating with us in english, we were so shocked. (because atp we know it's not scripted.) in a more recent live he communicated almost totally in english. just goes to show how far one can go if they put in the effort and work hard to reach their goal.
