Interesting because this is a big problem i has with bridges my hamstring kicks in overdrive. This was great it definitely activated more glute. Thank you so much for sharing this information.

Try activating your quads by using a wall to push your arms into (arms reaching back over your head) ... this will inhibit your hamstrings as your quadriceps will be active.
