Bridging Indigenous Forest Conservation and Economic Sustainability

At Carbon Tanzania, we work very closely with our community partners in our project areas to protect their forests. Indigenous people use ancient knowledge while implementing new ideas to protect forests.
They involve traditional practices in managing forests and this helps preserve their culture while at the same time receiving benefits from carbon revenue. By fostering cooperation and embracing indigenous knowledge, we then collectively strive towards a more sustainable and inclusive global community.
