This is an outstanding accomplishment for the preservation of culture and history. Its ironic that the description on the news piece is that there was no strife, yet the schools were segregated, I know of some of the restaurants that were segregated, the hospital was segregated, civil organizations were segregated, the political system was segregated, the opportunities for economic advancement were limited by this segregation and other things. Was it more of an acceptance of the status quo leading to an absence of conflict?
