Man TI and Luda were neck and neck. Luda maybe edges to but Ti had massive pop hits like Whatever You Like, Live Your Life, My Love (with JT). At a point he was arguably the biggest in the game.

This and Red Light District two of my favorite albums of all time. I think people constantly leave Ludacris out of the top mcs. For whatever reason. He's great. His own unique style and rhyme schemes.

They ignore his lyricism because of his humor. Also Luda always has the BEST intros on all albums

Ludacris's first album is "Back for the First Time" major album, the independent one is called "Ncognegro" The first major one had "Whats your Fantasy and Southern Hospitality on it, And it was on Def Jam. Thats the one I said something about on your T.I. video, cause Pharrell produced on both of their first albums, which is Southern Hospitality, Then the T.I. songd are "Im Serious and "P*ssy Pumper number one"

I love Luda - I love rappers who put so much personality and humour into their raps. You can't mistake Luda when he jumps on a track - same I'd say for Redman, ODB, Lil Wayne, Em etc His music is just fun, and he will rap circles around you given half a chance.

Luda had a 6 run album at this time that was insane. Back for the First Time - Word Of Mouf - Chicken-n-Beer - The Red Light District - Release Therapy - Theater of the Mind. Not many rappers stacked 6 albums this good consecutively, in just 8 years. Luda in the 2000s was wild. WOM-CNB-TRLD are arguably all 3 classics.
