That interview was refreshingly different. Thankfully some interviews are smart enough to think of out of the box questions to challenge the actors at least a little bit. I have watched quite a lot of interviews from Brie and at some point, Brie is getting asked the same questions again and again and her answers almost sound like she's just reciting them from memory. It's really interesting what Brie says here, when she gets serious. We viewers normally just watch the movie, admire the actor and the peformance but have no insight into the acting process. What happens to a person that plays a character like Ma on Room over the course of months for several hours everyday. That she couldn't have played that character well without having experienced something a bit similar to her role or the scenario. Because of Brie, for the first time ever, I'm getting a bit insight into the acting process and the thoughts and experiences of an actress.
