Brie’s 100 day journey to the Extreme Mustang Makeover

Transformation is a process. As life happens there are tons of ups and downs, and it’s all part of the journey✨
I love this quote, I think it perfectly summaries what training Brie has been like throughout these past 120 days. As I’m leaving for Texas today I’m not feeling as prepared as I would have liked, but we are as good as we are gonna get. We are nowhere’s near close to perfect, and with dealing with a lameness for the first two months of training, I wouldn’t expect to be. Not to mention that Brie has been one of the most mentally challenging horses I’ve had the pleasure of training. Quite honestly there have been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears put into this horse. But, she’s going to make someone a phenomenal mare! She’s mentally come so far from the scared horse she once was.

You did such a wonderful job working with Brie. I did get a little teary at the confidence and trust Brie gave over to you fairly quickly, What a special connection for you two.
