My dad tells me his dad (my grandfather) was from Tecalitlan, Jalisco & one of his ancestors was a member of Mariachi Vargas, my grandparents are dead and we don’t know who exactly was apart of the mariachi , I’ll probably never know but the story is that one of my ancestors was apart of it,

So was my father related to Mariachi Vargas, Pedro Vargas and Silvestre Vargas were my dad's first cousin through my dad's side so we are Vargas by birth. My grandmother was born in 1894 died in 2000 at the age of 106, and by dad died a month later of 75 years old . My father would tell us so many stories I never met my grandfather I believe he must if died late 1930tys or 40tys .
