I met this guy and he happens to be the biggest asshole I have ever met. In person, he is bitter and intent on belittling anyone he meets particularly if they either don't know who he is or forgot who he was- which was my particular case. What a lot of ex-military people seem to forget when transitioning to civilian life is that respect is earned at all levels unlike in the military where it is a given at his rank. Uncivilized people are a reflection of their upbringing.

I find Gen. Kimmitt to be quite personable and a true military man. He does what he needs to do. He was obviously ill and over worked, no surprise for the time frame and task at hand, which no normal citizen could possibly comprehend.
