Since I couldn't stop listening to this on repeat after I downloaded it... Here are the lyrics I deciphered on my own to this incredibly unique masterpiece of a Stoner Metal/Doom/Heavy Metal tribute to the gem of a low-budget, Independent Cult Horror/Backwoods Slasher/Exploitation/Grindhouse film of the same name by John Russo which not only is rather surprisingly good (despite some flaws) but also equally poignant, intriguing, despondent, perturbing, eerie, twisted, and downright bone chilling for what its $45,000 budget would allow of course. Please correct me if I'm wrong though that is: At Midnight I remember anxiety taking its toll. My heart-rate increasing, They pressured me in through the door. A scene that I witnessed It filled me with dread. I wish that I somehow was dreaming (was dreaming in). Could not believe, in God's name these deeds could be done. Where was the sign sent here so long ago? That left us in chains Centuries far ago. And how many times must we endure? So give us a sign that can be true. At Midnight I remember tragedy had to unfold. My heart-rate increasing, The air turns unaturally cold. An orgy of Blasphemy, I quiver with dread. I did not think I could live to see part of me (and part of you). Could not believe, in God's name these deeds could be done. Where was the sign sent here so long ago? That left us in chains, Centuries far ago. And how many times must we endure? Please give us a sign and let it be true. And what did you see that left you in awe? What could it be? Midnight Midnight Now the hour is near. We look to the sky, Poisoned like wine that leave us in ruin. Speak comforting words that will inform you and decieve you. And what did you see? That left in awe? What could it be? And I never will (know). Now that you're free.
