@@An_Ordinary_Man80 Yes. She suffered from bipolar disorder and unfortunately she spent my youth doing things that caused me to end up in many foster homes. But once she stopped running from her illness and began to seek psychological treatment and other help (including spiritual) she was finally able to be the mother she always wanted to be. She passed recently but thanks to the mother I had in my biological mother's absence, I was able to embrace the love and let go of the pain. There is true joy in my life. (Thanks for letting me share this with you.)

There’s a big hole in my heart from that. Would have given anything to have a caring Mom, bio or adopted. Only in Western society...i here about the word ADOPT...here, when a woman who is not the real mother of a child takes care of a child because of marriage or adoption..it means forever. You must respect her as a mother, you must love her as a mother. There is no such thing as i want to adopt you, there is no such thing as when you're 18 yo get out from my house...she takes care of you, your education and everything. And you don't leave her house just because you're 18 yo....and the child takes care of her Mom when she's old...if she's a mother, that's it...there is no such thing as the word adopt...only in Western society I've heard about this...but still, it is a beautiful moment.🥰

As far as l am concerned she was my daughter from the moment l said yes to her father, even though she lived with her mom and l rarely got to see her. I am absolutely proud of the lady she has become and on father's day she gave us the best news. Though l am only on my late 30s l found out l will be a grandmother. You know how she expressed her feelings for me, by not telling her daddy even though he was visiting with her and her husband while l was overseas. She waited to tell him until l was face timing with them, and later she told her dad that my reaction to her pregnancy was more heartwarming then her own mother could have ever shown. So one day your daughter will understand that your wife's love is priceless because she loves for the sake of loving that girl.

I've raised my stepson since he was 3 years old. He just turned 18. All these years I have never called him my step child. He may not have been born from under my heart, but he was born into my heart. I don't love him like he's my own, I love him because he is my own. I know I married into a existing situation and my girls are all grown now and I still miss my little ones every day . It wasent always easy but being a parent is just that me and my wife had a biological daughter as well and they are strait plain .. sisters.. and I have daughters ... Step has never been in this family and never will. My girls are my greatest treasure I would never dream of changing a single thing!

He is now 30 with my 2 little granddaughters, his biological mom is back in his life, but im the one who gets mothers day , and holidays, and baby sitting , and sleep overs with my girls. Hes a pain at times , but he's my pain and I wouldn't trade him for the world !!

My stepmom named me even though my mum is alive Dad died when I was 6 and they've both took care of me making me have two amazing mum's. Now am 29 and I always buy them the same Xmas presents for them and invite them to eat on mother's day. Am indeed a blessed child. Am about to get married and my husband to be also have a daughter and I feel it's God's way to tell me "let's see how you will always treat her as your own" I pray God gives me that heart to love her because I love her dad.

Absolutely beautiful. Its not who helped bring you in this world its who loved you in the end. My husband is the step dad to my kids and when my daughter turned 18. She surprised my husband on fathers day by doing a little ceremony between them two. Which meant more to him than anything in the world. Because she wanted to show him all the Thanks for him always being there for her since her dad walked out on us. And she posted it on facebook and tagged her blood dad and labelled it what real dads do for their children they love to show her blood dad that real parents are there weather blood or not they love unconditionally not once whenever they want to buy love.

Kinda had the same thing but it was my cousins. I’m older at least almost ten years older they are both just a year apart from each other and I watched them and my auntie go through a bad relationship husband and father. Now I got a new uncle that I call my actual uncle and my auntie and my cousins actually have a father and a husband. My aunts been married to him for 9 years now and just recently my new uncle was able to adopt the kids after there real dad finally let go of his rights to them.

lol everyone wants to know this! when i was younger i liked to take cake mix and mix it with water (it tastes the exact same) and eat it. i wasnt allowed to this for obvious reasons so one day when i was home alone i made me some cake mix and when i tried to hide the evidence i locked myself out of the house and got caught when she got home.

I IMMEDIATELY started crying when she opened the first gift. Being someone who has 3 biological kids AND 3 step kids, I know what this kind of love feels like. My step kids are older than my biological kids but I love them just as much as I do my bio kids. And I do t refer to them as my “step children” those are my babies just as much and my younger 3. They may not have come out of my body, but DNA could never make me love them anymore than I already do. Until the day I die, those will be my kids. No matter if me and their father stay together or not. I am a 34 year old mother of 6 kids and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely love this for you and your family. 💯♥️🥹😭🫶🏻
