Briggs Model 31 Single Cylinder OHV 15.5HP 17.5HP 18.5HP Throttle / Governor - Linkages and Springs

Looks like a deal to me. I got an adjustable jet carb for my 20 horse opposed Vanguard and it was worth it. No more surge. Blessings Yall!

Do you turn the governor rod coming out the engine clockwise or counter cloclwise?

I have the 19.5 h.p Briggs and Stratton engine on my craftsman ys lawn mower it had a Nikki carburetor 😡 I replaced it with a Briggs and Stratton carburetor now it runs better
