Bright and attractive Dreamer campervan with separate toilet. D55 Exclusive

I have previously posted on the D55 as we have had one now for almost 2 years. To answer the question regarding the wardrobe & potentially damp clothes, this was a concern we initially had, however we use the shower every day when we are away & never had an issue with the clothes hanging in the wardrobe getting damp. In fact the shower area dries very quickly, no mould or damp & we close it off straight after use. It’s brilliant! P.s. the one plug in the shower is also not really an issue as when you move off in the day, any small residual water soon drains away.

I am loving that whole shower set up! That is such a creative idea! I like everything except the fact that the seats are white. If you are camping in this or spend more than a few days in it, your seats are not gonna look so white anymore. Forget it if you have small kids lol.

Don't worry about white seats Tiffany! The dog will soon sort that problem out!

If I was alone looking for a van I would go for this van or it’s Rapido equivalent the V55. For me this is an outstanding van. But only one gas cylinder is not a good idea, I would instal a fitting in the garage for a second cylinder. This model shows no oven/grill, but all U.K. versions come with an oven/grill as standard on the Rapido, and is an option on this model. I am waiting patiently for a Rapido V68 van, and hoping to get it in sept/oct after waiting 15 months. Thanks for the video Alan, I much prefer it when you on,y do one van at a time. 👍

Just to clarify, the Rapido V55 is almost identical to the Dreamer D55. Dreamer are a subsidiary of Rapido.

The wardrobe/shower space saving idea is pretty creative, I rarely see it... I think the only time I see something like that is in a DIY campervan, so this is the first time I see it on "commercial" rv. Still, the best space saving shower/toilet (imo) is the one on that mercedes rv (forgot the type) where you can push the entire wall.

I don't know which Mercedes you are referring to but I do know the idea of pushing the wall backwards and forwards. Knaus has also brought out a small camper where that is possible. The swinging wardrobe - shower is used by Rapido group vehicles in a number of brands.

We use the bifolding toilet door to section off the whole area at the back. There is a little slot just in front of the fridge which keeps it in place and then there's plenty of room and privacy to get washed and dressed in the morning. Luxury!

I think just the one gas bottle because it has a Webasto diesel heater ?

No grill / oven or microwave is a dealbreaker, otherwise it’s a good van considering it’s size.

The British versions come with a gas oven and grill.
