Beautiful, I did one with a dark earthy green base, the pearl paints were spectacular. It was almost completely dried and the cat knocked it over. You reminded me why I loved it, I'll have to try again, but maybe with paynes Grey base. Poor cat has been baned from the paint room ever since 😂🎉

If you put a drop of Golden Bone Black in each, helps with seeing the color the color before they dry. They color is a bit more intense when they dry.

Really pretty effect with the stacked colors. Theres so much room for experimenting with these pearls. I tend to like smaller puddles and more dark color showing but ive done a couple where having the puddles close together gave a really nice dimensional look. One thing i figured out that may be useful knowledge to those using amsterdam pearls is that the more you stretch the paint, the more vibrant the color dries. Definitely try other base colors! Ive done some lighter bases than are super nice. Great work Tony!

That’s really great advice on the stretching, thank you so much! Yes I’ve really enjoyed pouring with them in the little while. It’s great to hear from you and thanks for watching!

Love the result, those colours really come out when dry. Every time I've done a puddle pour I've put colour on colour. Now I want to try this method of separate pools with a wreck as the result is beautiful. Inspirational video. Thanks Tony.

Really beautiful! I would like to know how you mix the perlescent colours if you don’t want to see bubbles when it is dry? I am looking forward to see your next video with a blue base!❤
@tonysfluidart Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, Andrée! I mixed them the night before to try and have the air bubbles rise to the top for a full day. Because I mixed water in before I poured, I had to torch the puddles as well as the finished version quite a bit to make sure I didn’t get a ton of pin holes. Lots of patience I suppose! 😊

@@jeanfitzgerald4673 I do yes! I find the floetrol really helps with a thinner consistency with a little water as well.

@tonysfluidart I don't think color of the stacked interference color is as intense. You should try a white background, put black puddles, then the interference/pearlized colors on the black puddles

My colors are turning out very dark as it is drying. Am I mixing it wrong?
@tonysfluidart9 ай бұрын
Dark as in brighter or are they tuning a bit of a matte color? I find if I have too much pouring medium and not enough paint I’ve mixed up that they aren’t nearly as bright as I would like. How are you mixing them?
