Bright colorful Aurora over Berlin, Germany, Sept 24-25, 2023

On Sunday, Sept 24, a strong solar storm hit Earth causing the brightest aurorae in possibly two decades! The even appeared in the skies of Berlin with naked-eye colors and incredible curtains of rays and color. Truly a night to remember! This is some real-time footage as well as timelapse photography of the event.

Beautiful! I was outside the whole night from about 22-05 in the morning near Münster! Possibly the most beautiful thing i've ever saw and photographed and the brightest and most colorful aurora i've ever seen in germany. I always call it "The watermelon storm" to people i show it to. Not one cloud in sight the whole night. :)
