As soon as I heard this album I thought: "Wow, this is the Bright Eyes that I fell in love with to begin with" I love the new album and I am hoping this isn't the last one. Conor said at the concer in Kansas City that we would see him again. So, I hope he isn't lying otherwise, I'll be quite sad. Anyway, record is amazing, and the concert was SUPER amazing. Ahh I tried on three separate ocassions to see Bright Eyes this year and every attempt was thwarted. Whether it was because the tickets were purchased for the wrong Portland, were sold out in Vancouver , or our ride broke down exactly at the midway point to Calgary for May 25 I was unable to go. :( Talk about the gods being against me. Ah well, at least there is youtube! Ps love Nate Walcott, MM and Conor Oberst.
