@@SwitchStars And, from what you said, length of story as well. But it does seem to have a bit of it's own identity. Though I gotta say, $20 does seem like a bit of a stretch. Is that the main reason you gave it only 4? The length and price? Cause otherwise it seems like a fairly decent game.

Yea it's length is a bit short for the asking price IMO. I gave it 4 for a few reasons, the pricing, length and lack of a coherent storyline were the main ones. I really enjoyed the combat but I think the stealth and driving elements were a bit of a letdown especially the driving which wasn't very well constructed.

it's a shame this game was made by only one man. i can admire it because of that but at the same time, this project kinda looks like a tech demo instead of being a fully developed concept. the price is kinda steep for what's on offer too. i want to give it a shot someday but I will have to wait for a sale here. hopefully, this guy gets the funds to build a little team who can help him bring a sequel that expands on what was built here. genuine potential all around.

Yea I feel if there had been a bigger team then the story would have been more solid and the playtime longer. Hopefully we see a more fleshed out sequel though because this has set a good base from which to build on.

I don't think it's too short for what they're going for. I think of it like a shmup campaign only presented in an fps package.

At the end it came up with a rank but didn't actually show me any kind of rank lol, it just said the words. Don't know if it was bugged or not.

No, I believe it released as a shorter version without the suffix a while back, then infinite expanded on it. I wasn't aware of this though lol

I was surprised how amazing this game performed on my iPhone when it originally released. Now I’m surprised, yet again, to see this game pushing the hardware on Switch. I really wish they had some Switch exclusive add-on content. It’s definitely a missed opportunity…

Yea I was surprised too Ames. This Gold Edition does have some additional costumes but that's about it from what I could tell.

20 bucks is a great price for at least 10 hours of gameplay, given different difficulties and how much i love running though these types of games.

So I believe in the power of video games as a new way to tell stories, so games with a strong narrative/storytelling element are very important to me, much more so than high tech graphics or super high framerates, etc. But to be honest, it's not a deal breaker for me. But what is a deal breaker is charging 20 dollars for a 2 hour experience. While the game looks beautiful and props to the dev for taking on this project alone, asking for $20 dollars for what should be a 5 dollar game at most is a bit insulting if I'm being entirely forthright.

Yea Briar, I enjoy a good storyline but sometimes I find I just want something entirely focused on gameplay. I agree with that don't know exactly who came up with the pricing of this one, it could have been the publisher and Nintendo were taking a big cut, to cover the cost of porting it or more likely a tactical move so they can slap deep 80% discounts on its every so often

Awesome review. The gameplay looks very cool but 2 hours is just too short for me. I'll wait for sale. Our favorite publisher Midnight Works also released 2 more "games", a firefighter and a fishing simulator.

Thanks Camper. It is very short for the price and I feel most will be waiting on a sale. I saw those games, I am waiting on a price drop I think before covering, they're no doubt as shite as their previous games.

Yea I definitely think it's overpriced for the content, I feel that unfortunately, a lot of publishers don't consider runtime when they put these games out.

I would avoid it until they add a patch w cheats. The final boss is impossible without maybe 20 extra hrs of grinding the same enemies over a thousands times. The curscenes are cool though...

That's good to know dude 😊 the switch version looks great for the platform but you will definatley see the difference with the series x
