All of the cheapo small hd / other brand follow focuses are shit. They have play in the throw. You can deal with it but it lends itself to making more mistakes while shooting. Especially since the play gets larger when you add a speed crank. Also a thing to note is that if you are using any mirrorless camera or any adapter to go to a mirrorless camera that there will be play in the mounts. You really need to lock down the adapter onto a cage or onto a rail setup or alternatively you need to get a camera that has a locking mount on the camera itself. Don't bother getting this follow focus if you don't have all the right cine accessories as it probably won't work. Right fitting gear rings, right fitting rail supports etc. You need some experience with various different brands before you commit to buying this type of follow focus as it costly for most individuals. Even though this follow focus is expensive. It will last you your career which makes it worthwhile instead of buying and re-selling cheapo follow focuses that always never work well.
