Guys, I recommend getting those passive skills using knowledge points. I unlocked the Juniper Chopsticks at level 27 Carpentry and went to sleep doing that passive activity. I woke up after 10 hours and got 18k exp from it(and sold the items i made during the activity). It's a good way to earn exp when you go to sleep or go to work. DO IT

How do you "do the passive activity"? I thought once I put a point into it, it was just actively doing it when I logged out (I never checked the xp tho lol - probs got nothin cause I actioned nothin)

@@mechman7008 Go find which passive activity you unlocked. For example, level 20 Scout in episode 2 unlocks Wild Boar passive activity. Go find the Wild Boar and start attacking it. It will give you a prompt that it's a passive activity and will continue even after logout. Passive Activities has a blue cicle icon on its name.

Also people need to stop viewing afk methods as an actual leveling method it is a way to level the profession while asleep at work ect and when you view it like that the afk slots are worth the knowledge points

I honestly think that in a speedrun sense, sacrificing the 50% equivilent exp boost, for 12-15 silver is worth it to guarentee 100% uptime on carpentry grind.

Passives are underrated, they aren't there for you to click on it and maybe make a sandwich, ye like that it's pretty underwhelming. But as it says, passives are going on while being logged out. So why not get it, take your character there when going to sleep, and while you are sleeping, + on next day going in to work, doing your life, you will get a bomb of XP and a bit of money for doing what? Exactly :) Don't sleep on them folks!

I was doing silver until I hit the lvl 20 grind on wc and carpentry... Hoooooooly does that extra bump per level feel nice.

Acctually as alittle math too if you do this. It's about 100 or so trees/logs per level if you spend your point on the XP for WC. (Starting carpentry now so I can't speak to that yet.)

I just did math Taking Silver > Exp for carpentry Because the silver pays for more exp in carpentry mats

just train any combat skill a bit before leveling carpentry, you'll have loads of money

​@@CardThrone Well, of course, I am not arguing that if you have money, exp will always be better. But I have seen many people including this video say that money is a scam/waste/not worth. False; inefficient if you are planning to max every skill, yes. But if you just need say, 32 levels in Carpentry asap. It is literally faster to using knowledge on silver. In fact, early on, knowledge on silver can be used to pay for earlier tool upgrades or enchants, giving more exp back.

Yeah sadly left a key thing off the video. I don't have it either yet but I havea feeling it probably unlocks at a profession level 20, when you unlock the passive

Lvl literally any skill to 20 like Guard and you can gain knowledge, only skills that are 20 can gain the xp drop though. My friend got over 50 done in a day just doing guard while making over 800 silver
