This is probably a nitpicky and insignificant detail, but it doesn't take the time to go gather gas into account. For blacksmithing specifically, I've been wondering if there are some parts of the process where it'd be faster to grind lower-level items at the goblin forge, rather than go to the gnome forge.

@@GurtGobain 1 trip of gathering the gas gives you enough fuel to do over 2 hours of processing at the gnome forge, so yes, that could alter the rates by a couple % for those metal types.

This is an awesome tool man. Thanks for all your work. When you use the section to calculate what materials you need for a particular goal; it also calculates the knowledge gain, but is it calulating using said knowledge as XP into the skill? As obviously that affects how many materials you actually need to gather.

@@oots4790 it does not, I hadn’t really thought much about that. Normally if I’m training a skill I’m putting knowledge into something else, but I guess if you’re trying to power level that makes sense. I’ll put it on the list lol

@MCYodatheGIANT I'm usually the same way, but recently hit 35 alchemy using knowledge, and can now make profitable pots at least. So I decided id use knowledge to power level to the lost and found quest reqs. I super appreciate a calculator like this to plan out my limited game time better, I also appreciate the quick response!

You wanna stick to 3-4 materials crafts. 5 doesn't add up a full inv and incurs more refill runs, hence lower exp.

@@Twoinchbeta sometimes 3-4 materials is better, and sometimes it isn’t. The calculator takes into account the fact you can only do 4 items an inventory with 5-material items

When you did the calcs for 52-60 black smith it listed the item level of Moderate Throwing Rings as Item Level 56, is that wrong?
