The move of the consist north at the start was cool! Interesting to see they've stood up Base Camp at Orlando fast enough they're now actively including it as preferential for some of the maintenance of the operational revenue fleet of trains.

It has capabilities the running repair facility doesn't have plus this has been a good chance to start training the new maintenance crews without the rush of daily operations.

You really captured some beautiful shots of the Brightline testing. Thank you! And the colors in some of your footage was incredible. The water so blue an vivid, the palm trees...Beautiful! And in some of the captures from Day 1, Brightline Pink almost looked like Brightline Purple! Thanks you and appreciate all the hard work you have done to bring us to this point!

Any news on the maximum number of cars per train or if additional trainsets will be ordered for expansion if passenger numbers increase?

Stations are built for trains a maximum size of 10 cars and 2 locomotives long. Additional coaches are already on order.

@10:00 I see a lot of ties lying along the track. Are those for expanding the Cocoa to Orlando track to double-tracks in the future or did they construct too many ties?

Those are left overs, likely to be stored until the time eventually comes to build more track

At this point they will only operate between Miami and Orlando, Daytona Beach is not currently in their plans.

No, the cars and locomotives have special semi-permanent couplers though standard couplers are in the nose of each locomotive.

The single track goes to the Orlando station and then the Vehicle Maintenance Facility, also know as Basecamp

Still seems like they aren’t ready for the 100mph testing (some spots yes but most no). I hope they can run full speed by the end of the year but it looks like they still have a lot of testing to do. I do expect they run revenue service soon, but idk if full passenger track speed for the whole route gets done by the end of the year.
