@KoreoBace , didn't your teacher shout at u ??.. If we r late , they will write a diary remark, and if we got more than 5 remarks, we will get warning letter and if we get more than 3 warning letter , we will get suspension. Even if we get into the bus early and the bus driver drives slowly and reach the school ,there will be no complaints on driver, only us ( cruel). They will not kind of take care of us because we r private bus. School bus cause the double money of private bus . And soooo sorry for explaining everything. T_T.

The overhead flashing red lights on school buses work off of a button that the door lever rests against. When the lever is released (to open the door) the lights are engaged and flash. This may vary from state to state but in most I’m certain it is required to have the lights going at any stop the bus makes

When I went to school in 1940' 50's only country kids rode the school bus. If you lived within the city limits , you walked to school. Rain or shine, snow or ice, didn't matter. We did NOT have "snow days", either. If the school buses weren't able to pick up the country kids, then when they did, the kids had to make up any lessons missed. I remember only one day that classes were cancelled. i was a sophomore in h s. A very strong straight line winds blew out the windows on the south side of the school. The next day we went to school with boarded up windows. It was dark in the spanish class I had then. We never thought it was cruel to have to walk to school in INCHES of snow. Most if not all thought it was a privilege to go to school.

Hi Bright Side! I am from Mumbai, India. My school was not too far from my house. So my mom usually took me to school. Now I am in college, and I remembered those my school days... Now I have to travel daily by train to reach my college. But that's the fun too.... 💞💞💞❤❤😘😘😘😄😄😄😄😄😄

See in the UK we have barriers that come down about 1 minute before the trains come and then go back up after.

I would mostly ride the bus, but I occassionally would get rides (especially when it was time to do the school play), and in later years, I would drive myself. I have several funny bus stories. one time, we had a half day, and on the ride home, we crossed a railroad track. the driver stopped, as she's supposed to, but when we crossed the track, I looked out the window, and through the fog, I made out 3 lights in the distance. I laughed, because I realized that we came close to getting t-boned, and the driver didn't notice out of a simple fluke.

There are two possible answers. #1 the bus driver can't stand listening to all the students talking or screaming at the same time, and wants to get out of the bus and run away. #2 the bus driver is a nice person, and wants the train to get inside the bus

for #2, the bus driver should wait on the tracks with the door open and yell "all aboard" while the train approaches.
